Novant wouldnt set up Franklin County hospital

Novant Health voiced currently that it was abandoning the bid to set up a new sanatorium in southern Franklin County, usually over the Wake County line.

Novant pronounced in a created matter that it was committed to mending Franklin Countys usually hospital, Franklin Regional Medical Center.

Novant took over Franklin Regional in Oct from HMA, that had due shutting the Louisburg sanatorium and relocating it twelve miles south to Youngsville.

Opposition from Louisburg officials scuttled the move programmed by HMA. Officials pronounced the move would put some-more area in between the sanatorium and tools of the county that are disproportionately populated by minorities and bad and aged patients.
